Your sacred destinations
A journey between the two holy cities of Islam

Mecca — The Mother of Cities (Umm al-Qura)
The site of the first sanctuary built for the worship of Allah, Mecca is the beating heart of Islam. It is here that the believer performs Umrah and Hajj, circumambulating the Kaaba, the singular direction of prayer for all Muslims. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A prayer in this mosque (the Sacred Mosque) is worth one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere." (Reported by Ibn Majah)
Medina — The City of the Prophet (ﷺ)
It is in this blessed city that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) settled, taught and was buried. The believer travels there to pray in the Prophet's Mosque (ﷺ), a place where one feels the sweetness of faith and the tranquility of the sunnah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A prayer in my mosque is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except the Sacred Mosque." (Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim) And he said: "Medina is better for them, if only they knew." (Reported by Muslim)
